SG Transmission Type 52 powered on electromagnetic brakes are all FM (flange mounted). These brakes can be supplied as shown on the data sheet at the below pdf file.

The armatures can be supplied as C.L., C.C., or C.R. types (please refer to data sheets on the right) and consist of an armature plate and return spring (in C.L. form), or a hub, with or without bearings, to suit the needs of the drive train. The armature must be positioned with an air-gap to allow efficient operation, and must be checked at regular interval and reset where necessary.
